That is not the responsibility of Pawel or Phil to do, but of your community leaders. But the issue of harrassment against female players is something that your community leaders at CDPR need to address.
We love Pawel and Phil, in fact I got a scriptwriting book recommended by Pawel, to write my own work based on Phil’s characters. So I hope you at CDPR understand that it was not our gut feelings about Pawel or Phil, but about our doubts brought forth by the amount of harrassment we receive. When that kind of hostility is not addressed in the communities, it reflects badly on everyone at CDPR. That is what is making us second guess ourselves and why we needed a clear statement from you. In other words, the hostile community members are manufacturing consent for the creative process behind the characters. It is why we are persistent about official statements from CDPR, so that we have some kind of thing to fall back on when the harrassment occurs.
The sheer amount of hostility on this subject by the men in the general fandom is what makes us always a little confused about the subject. And it usually gets to the point of person insults about our sex lives. The issue is that we get harrassed by community members for sharing our feedback of content directed to us. As long as that feedback is able to be given, then I am happy. To I said in Pawel’s chat, although I was a little unhappy by the way the River romance was implemented, I give the benefit of the doubt that a mistake was simply made, or that they could not finish it in the time your managment allowed them.
